Indiana farmers are facing a deadline that will determine how they will recoup their losses involving seeds.
Farmers like Jim Schrier aren't pleased with Syngenta, the Swiss company they say sold them a corn seed that cost them millions of dollars.
"Especially this year many farmers will be losing money, and I think this lawsuit is about what Syngenta has done, driving prices down and costing farmers money," Schrier said.
Farmers are demanding Syngenta pay for losses dating back to 2013.
Major ag companies, including Cargill and Archer-Daniels Midland, have filed lawsuits against Syngenta. A two-year statute of limitations comes up in mid-November.
